​​​​​​​​ Taxi service is provided at Istanbul Airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Three types of taxis are utilized for the service, comprised of black “E” type, blue “D” type, and orange “C” type taxis.

Passengers who want to benefit from taxi services can use the vehicles standing at their main stop point which is located at Plaza Section Domestic and International Flights Passenger exit doors as well as vehicles at departure floor (2. floor).

In order to respond to vehicle demands with bigger boot space, more passenger capacity (8+1), wider seat pitch/legroom, and similar features compared to the existing taxis, increase service quality and also encourage vehicles with zero-emissions, different price tariffs have been determined by UKOME for taxis serving in the upper segment class with turquoise and black colors. As such, turquoise taxi fares are 15% higher than orange taxi fares, and black luxury taxi fares are 70% higher than orange taxi fares in the UKOME administered tariff.

ISTANBUL TAXI PRICES The current burgundy or yellow taxi opening fee applied between April 7, 2022 and December 31, 2022 in Istanbul is 9.80 TL, and the fee per kilometer is 6.30 TL. For turquoise colored taxis, the opening fee is 11.27 TL, and the cost per km is 7.25 TL. In black luxury taxis, the opening fee is 16.66 TL, and the cost per kilometer is 10.71 TL. Hop-on hop-off fee is 28 TL for yellow taxis, 32.20 TL for turquoise taxis and 47.60 TL for black taxis. The price schedule is valid throughout Istanbul, regardless of villages and city locations. In addition, there is no distinction between day and night tariffs.
