In the first ten months of 2023, from January to October, there was an increase of 11.58% compared to the same period last year, bringing the total number of visitors to Turkey to 44,200,079. Out of the 4,987,112 foreign visitors in October, 286,028 (5.74%) were day-trippers.

- Istanbul: 32.21% (1,606,505 visitors)
- Muğla: 7.76% (386,811 visitors)
- Edirne: 7.47% (372,341 visitors)
- Izmir: 3.12% (155,602 visitors)
The top countries sending visitors to Turkey in October 2023 were:
- Germany: 17.26% (860,635 visitors)
- Russian Federation: 13.48% (672,198 visitors)
- United Kingdom: 8.85% (441,449 visitors) Followed by Bulgaria and Iran.
For the period from January to October 2023, the top countries sending visitors to Turkey were:
- Russian Federation: 13.21% (5,838,203 visitors)
- Germany: 12.93% (5,715,838 visitors)
- United Kingdom: 8.14% (3,598,870 visitors) Followed by Bulgaria and Iran.
Compared to the same period last year, there was an increase in visitors from the Russian Federation by 26.02%, from Germany by 8.38%, and from the United Kingdom by 12.28%.
